MEDIA
“Media is the best means I know of to convey a message to a large group of people, quickly. It’s entertaining, but more importantly a great educational tool. People learn through the examples of others. So I like to use the media as a way to showcase stories about strong entrepreneurs so that others can learn and put that insight into practice.”
– Ingrid Vanderveldt
Ingrid Vanderveldt’s media savvy goes from in front of the camera and reporters to behind the camera and on the set. She has been featured in The Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY; and on CNBC, “The Today Show”, “Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo” and “The Donny Deutsch Show”, as well as regional and local media outlets.
She also has produced her own video features. In architecture school, Ingrid created the first ever “Women in Architecture” video to create higher awareness of women in the field, to encourage more women to practice the profession, and to take proactive measures to stop the drop-out rate of women in the field once they left school. (Thirty percent of the students in architecture school were women but only 8.9 percent of them actually practiced in the profession). The video has become a staple in schools across the U.S.
Ingrid brings this expertise to businesses and media companies who want to leverage the power of media. Most of the media we produce in house features Ingrid as host or spokesperson. iV Media has produced the following types of corporate video :
- Short online films (DELL Conversationalists)
- Online series (“The Road to SXSW Interactive 2010″)
- Corporate storytelling videos (Microsoft SB25)
- Online guides (Sweetleaf Tea)
- Documentaries (ONE)
All iV Media productions support global leadership and sustainable success. We choose projects to produce and people, brands and companies to feature that exemplify this focus.
